"Huxley Hall" - The Kerney-Kilmer House
The original stone portion of this house was built circa 1795
by Revolutionary War Capt. John Kerney who served after the
war as Justice of the Peace in Martinsburg. The brick portion
was added in 1820 by David Kilmer.

Hibbard Mansion & Mill
This house was built circa 1820 by Aaron Hibbard, a Quaker, on
land which had been given to his wife, Martha Mendenhall, by her
father James. A fulling mill circa 1810, located southeast of
Hibbard Hall, was destroyed in 1988.

Susan Couchman House
This is a two-story, gable-roofed, "L"-dwelling which is entirely
constructed of log on a stone foundation and covered with clapboard.

Smoketown School
This brick one-room school was built in 1869 on land donated
by Jacob Miller. It was three-bay with gable roof. Entrance porch
has a shed roof in the gable end.

Rush-Miller House
This house is constructed of coursed rubble limestone, and
built in two sections. The rear section was constructed first
circa 1810. The front section was built circa 1873.
